Reebok x Salong Betong – CL Limited Edition

Very smart treatment – and photos – by Salong Betong (featured here on Retrobok previously rocking some Reebok collab Tees) who are a tattoo parlour in Stockholm suburb Högdalen. Featuring ‘full grain tumbled leather and oiled nubuck’, I particularly like the purity of the white midsole helped by the all-black sole keeping things simple down there. Available in store at Salong Betong on 28th February 2013 at 20:00 and online at 22:00, and pre-orderable at SixFeetDown ~BokOne

CL Trail – Blue Sport/Black/Nacho (30th Anniversary)

I’m liking the colourway title for these almost as much as the colourway itself 😀 I’ve got a pair of the first wave CL Trails in Black/Orange/Grey and they’ve become a regularly worn favourite, especially in the cold of a UK Winter as they have a fleece inner lining and a chunky sole inspired by the ’87 Fell Runner. Now available at Reebok UK [Note – Titolo currently stock a similiar pair but with a black toe wrap instead of the all-over Blue, and Sivasdelcalzo stock a pair with black toe wrap/heel counter and yellow midsole] ~BokOne

Classic Leather 30th Anniversary – Vintage Suede Pack

There’s now an abundance of CL makeups appearing, celebrating it’s impressive 30th birthday. I remember back in the day, the pure-White only Classic lived up to it’s name perfectly – it was quite a standout shoe at the time in amongst the more serious runners. However, as regular visitors are probably well aware I’m not the biggest fan of the Classic due to its’ tarnished image in the UK since ’83 but these 30th Anniversary treatments are mostly looking the part. No release dates for this nearly Red White and Blue (or is that ‘Tricolore’?) trio announced yet, but no doubt it will be soon. Via LeSiteDeLaSneaker ~BokOne

Sneakersnstuff x Reebok CL 30th Anniversary Edition

A pretty smart, Wintry treatment to the 30 year old Classic ; SNS have done a great job with these – featuring PlayDry and Thinsulate in the inner lining (remininscent of the CL Trails which I highly recommend if you’re in colder climes). There’s also a nice accompanying video of Peter and Erik talking about their partnership with Reebok, and history of their nearly 13-year-old store. Hopefully I’ll be in Stockholm later this year, and hope to say hi to the guys. The SNS Classic was released on Saturday. Sneakersnstuff (Sweden) ~BokOne

Dash Runners – 6 new colourways

Really really liking these colourways – especially the first 2 and the Silver (4th down with purple lace placketts) which is a colourway rarely seen on Retro ‘Boks. Now available over at Reebok UK (and no doubt other stores too). ~BokOne

Received my ERS 1500s in Black/Pink/Aubergine today from Reebok UK (well, they came from Germany to be accurate) and have taken a few photos & macros for you to check out. There’s also a review of this new and interesting addition to the ERS range. Read on for the full article.

GL 6000 South Korea photoshoot

The MEDIA section has been updated with a selection of recent photos promoting the latest wave of GL 6000‘s in South Korea. The great news is that I’ve been told that 2013 is THE year for the GL 6000 — in South Korea at least. So stand by to see a host of bold and colourful makeups, which I think may divide opinion with Retrobok visitors… ~BokOne

Dash Runner ‘Red Heel’

I’ve yet to pick up a pair of Dash Runners, and whilst I’m not sure about their precise history I’m guessing they are a more recently retro-styled shoe. The particularly interesting thing about this colourway is that the striking laser-red heel counter closely matches the treatment on a pair of (as yet) unreleased GL 6000‘s shown above. These Dash Runners are currently available at Germanys’ Solebox ~BokOne

SALE! Dr.Jays (USA)

A few pretty neat ‘Boks are getting their prices dropped over at US store Dr.Jays – with those striking White/Black and Red/Black 30th Anniversary Classic BRK’s on offer, as well as the Ice Pack Workout Mids, and the very tidy Ex-O-Fit Plus’s. Just a small selection below – each image links out directly to it’s own page. ~BokOne

CL + CL Mid Lux Keith Haring

These eye-popping shoes, currently available at luxury site Luisaviaroma are clearly inspired by the popular Jeremy Scott x Adidas collabs over the last few years. Whether Reebok are doing a good thing with these is a matter of personal taste. Each shoe image links directly out. ~BokOne

Additional – There are a few more Keith Haring x Reeboks out there, as this Tumblr image shows —

ERS 1500 now available @ Reebok UK store

Available in the Black/Vital Blue/Steel/Aubergine/Dynamic Pink colourway – and if you input the code VC12PCT, you’ll get a further 12% off 😀 Expect an unboxing & macro pics by the end of the week. | Reebok UK ~BokOne

GL 6000 x 6000 ??

I’m not sure I can keep up any more 😮 Whether these are a decent Photoshop job, or samples I can’t tell…. (click image to view larger) ~BokOne

5 x GL 6000 2013 colourways in South Korea

The South Korean GL 6000 videos led me to the official Reebok South Korea site where another 3 colourways are now available (2 of which have been shown here before on Retrobok), including an all-grey markup, a very girly pink/grey, and the Red/Blue and Blue/Yellow seen previously. Interestingly, they’re all marked as ‘Unisex’, they’re not currently available on either the US or UK official sites though. Head over to Reebok South Korea to avoid straining your neck at my montage 😉 ~BokOne

Note – 3 x colourways also available at the official Japanese store, alongside the curious Flex Real Classic GL‘s (look closely at their uppers!).

South Korean GL 6000 commercials

Keen-eyed Dixy pointed me in the direction of these recent South Korean GL 6000 videos, which are pretty damn sweet. I can’t help being a little perplexed at the 6000 runners being used for Skateboarding though, I guess Reebok are trying to make them a little more ‘street’. ~BokOne
