CL — Reebok x Mita

Following a similiar design approach to the ‘Frank the Butcher’ CL collabs by breaking up the panelling these Mitas’ are a curious addition to the ongoing 2013 Classic Leather 30th Anniversary releases. More waffle + pictures after the jump.

Some nice touches, particularly the subtle Moon/Star overlays on the light blue surfaces, debossed Reebok logo on the heel tab, and wire fence theme on the sole inserts. On this last theme, these aren’t part of the teaser City Classics series as far as I can tell.

However, I’m just not feeling the panelling treatment (much as I didn’t with the FTB’s previously) which breaks up the shoe a little awkwardly: sure, it’s a different approach – but one I’m not convinced about. What about you? Comments always welcomed. —BokOne
