Ventilator pickup — Chalk/Snowy Grey/Team Purple/Energy Blue
The 1990 Ventilator is currently celebrating it’s 25th anniversary and there is a huge selection of anniversary colourways hitting the stores + streets right now, and Reebok Classics recently released the 2nd of 3 colourways from the 2015 Ventilator Vintage Pack, this time in Chalk/Snowy Grey/Team Purple/Energy Blue. Read on for more, and for macro pics.
Now I’m going to say this straight up; I feel that this colourway won’t get as much attention as the other 2 within this pack, solely for the lack of colour pops – which is a shame really, these fit really well on feet and if you’re looking for all (or near-all) white kicks, these should be right up there on your list.
To be honest, they DO have colour pops, with the Energy Blue around the ankle collar helping reduce the apparent height of the shoe from the lateral view. The crackle texture seems on point too, with the stitched OG Ventilator wordmark on the tongue really looking sweet. The toebox – as with the first colourway in this series – appears to have deliberate pre-creasing, but isn’t hugely noticeable if you’re not a fan of this vintage treatment.
Thanks again to Angela @ Reebok Classics for sending a pair of these my way. —BokOne
