Mastermind X Reebok Classics Ventilator — Pickup & Photos
The 25th anniversary of the Reebok Ventilator has brought us a plethora of collabs, colourways and make ups from some of the biggest names in the sneaker fraternity. Reebok has been kind enough to gift us with a pair of the exclusive and very sought after Mastermind (Japan) editions from the duo that was released with an LX 8500. Click on for more.
The black and white silhouette has been used countless times on collabs from every other brand.
In this instance however the buttery luxury leather and defined vented detailing sets this shoe apart from the rest. The use of a reflective silver thread on the tongue stitching and the embroidered Skull & Cross Bones emblem on the heel breaks up the monochrome look, with a subtle touch of Black 3M that throws a more subdued light back at the retina.
The midsoles black vented instep flashes a dash of scarlet red with every lift of the foot from the Ventilators hexalite windowed outsole. Reebok/Mastermind branded lace tips on both sets of Black/White laces complement a stunningly detailed retrobok.
This is one of the best collabs of this shoe we have seen yet with the real Mastermind being Reeboks timeless design. With thanks to Alex at Reebok Classics for helping us out. —BokTwo
