Londons’ Palace Skateboards have been collabing with Reebok Classics for a few years now, providing some great results as well as hilarious video promos.
This time around, they’ve fused legendary 80’s boks Club C and Workout resulting in what looks like a pretty tidy skate shoe, using the piping areas for those colour pops (yeah huh I said it) across 3 colourways.

Today sees a very sweet collab release of the hugely popular Club C ’85 by Swedish store SNS – with the C getting an even cleaner treatment with the removal of any logo on the upper side, as well as elk leather and gold debossing details.
I’d actually say that photos don’t do the elegant simplicity of this shoe justice – If you don’t yet own a pair (and regardless of season) isn’t it about time?
Available in a few hours time at SNS (and if you sleep on those, no doubt Reebok will release a similar makeup in the next few months).

Firstly, apologies for lack of activity on Retrobok – I’ve recently relocated to Tokyo so will attempt to increase activity over the coming few months, possibly with a little more Asian markt insight.
There have been quite a few Club C 85 makeups released over the last few months; testament to the shoes’ timelessness, clean lines and the supple comfort of a Terrycloth lining. I have a few pairs and they’re regular go-to’s for urban/daily wear.
The ‘Element Pack’ (aka ELM) includes 3 subtle tonal pastel makeups with the 3 colourways being titled ‘Seaside Grey’, ‘Porcelain Pink’ and ‘Fresh Blue’ and are currently available from stores such as Overkill (Germany), Titolo (Switzerland), and End (UK / Australia and – yes, US friends, the USA!). -BokOne
Releasing tomorrow – 27th December – as in-store exclusives; Bostons’ Concepts store refits the Club C with premium suede, custom labels, gum outsoles and (apparently) some custom packaging. Very tidy treatments to an already clean shoe, a model I need to brush up my history on. These should be available in-store at Concepts in Cambridge Boston and New York – no online purchasing visible at this time, the best I can do is offer you Concepts’ store locations. Hit the jump to see the other 2 colourways. —BokOne Read the rest of this entry
