Epitome x InstaPump Fury ‘Evolution of the Woman’

IMG_6480_2048x2048

Great to see strong design and message (and art direction too) with the forthcoming Epitome ‘Evolution of the Woman’ (EOTW) collaboration.

It’s not too often the legendary Pump Fury gets some female focus in the West; the EOTW Fury is certainly a premium shoe with white patent leather upper and translucent and metallic details throughout.

Launching at an NYC pop-up shop on 12th October, then on 14th at Epitomes’ store in Atlanta Georgia, and online. Price is set to be around US$205.

Be sure to check out the promo video, and more photography after the jump. Great work. —BokOne

1993 Spring Performance Running Catalogue

i[2

Another fantastic Catalogue scan from TheReebokKid — this time from 1993, and very exciting it is too. Why? Because these shoes directly preceded the release of the Instapump Fury, now in it’s 20th Anniversary year.

Not only does this catalogue feature the more familiar Fury-predecessors the Pump Graphlite and Graphlite Road, but also a set of less-familiar yet extremely exciting shoes — the Instapump Trainer, Racer and Sprint. Each of these shoes feature more design cues that the world had yet to experience in ’94.

Hit the jump to see your eyes pop out (if that’s physically possible!) and a link directly to the full catalogue. Thanks again TheReebokKid 🙂 —BokOne  Read the rest of this entry

Pump Fury — Reebok x Sneakersnstuff ‘Legal Issues’

Very interesting makeup by Swedish SNS on the Pump Fury.

‘Legal Issues’ … might sound like a harsh name, but we will give you the background to it. When we came up with the idea of this white furry Fury with irregular black dots on it, we had something in mind. This something is something that has been, still is and will continue to be an inspiration for many generations, not only in Sweden but world wide. So to make a tribute to this something we went for a part of that something that we felt was suitable for the Reebok Pump Fury.

But as many of todays inspirations are, this something comes with a trademark. So, as we rather not would like to have a lawsuit in our laps from that something that really inspired us and that we wanted to make a tribute to, we rather call this the Sneakersnstuff x Reebok Pump Fury ”Legal Issues”.

So let the speculations begin… We will of course deny everything!

According to SNS these will be available on April 25th from Sneakersnstuff, Packer Shoes, Hanon Shop, Solebox, Colette, Mita Sneakers, Foot patrol, Burn Rubber, Atmos, Highs & Lows, Vault, Livestock, BTNC, Limited Edition, Bodega, Crooked Tongues, Kasina and Shoe Gallery. More pics after the jump, or pop over to SNS themselves. —BokOne
